Cookie Policy

Depending on the entity that manages the domain from which cookies are sent and processes the data obtained, there are two types:

• First-party cookies: These are sent to the user’s terminal from a device or domain managed by the publisher itself and from which the service requested by the user is provided.

• Third-party cookies: These are sent to the user’s terminal from a device or domain that is not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through cookies.

If cookies are installed from a device or domain managed by the publisher, but the information collected is managed by a third party, they cannot be considered first-party cookies.

There is also a second classification depending on how long they remain stored in the user’s browser:

• Session cookies: Designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website. They are typically used to store information that is only necessary for the provision of the service requested by the user on a single occasion (e.g., a list of purchased products).

• Persistent cookies: The data remain stored in the device and can be accessed and processed during a period defined by the cookie controller, which can range from a few minutes to several years.

Finally, there is another classification based on the purpose for which the data obtained is processed:

• Technical cookies: Allow the user to navigate through a website, platform, or application and use different options or services such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted access areas, remembering the items in a shopping cart, completing the purchase process, signing up for or participating in an event, using security elements during navigation, storing content for video or audio dissemination, or sharing content via social networks.

• Personalization cookies: Allow the user to access the service with some predefined general features based on criteria in the user’s device, such as language, browser type, regional settings, etc.

• Analytics cookies: Enable the controller to track and analyze the behavior of users on websites to which they are linked. The information collected is used to measure activity on websites, applications, or platforms and to create user browsing profiles to improve the service based on user usage data.

• Advertising cookies: Allow for the most efficient possible management of advertising spaces.

• Behavioral advertising cookies: Store information on user behavior obtained through continuous observation of their browsing habits, allowing the development of a specific profile to display advertising based on it.

• External social network cookies: Used so that visitors can interact with content from different social platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), and are generated only for users of those networks. The conditions for using these cookies and the information collected are regulated by the privacy policy of the respective social platform.
